Lomography!I recently bought a Diana "Edelweiss" F+ while in Hong Kong last week. I haven't processed the film yet, but I'm very anxious to see how the pictures turned out. I took a full roll of black and white shots in Kowloon; I'm hoping at least 5 of the 12 shots came out! I'm also thinking about developing the film myself, but I'm scared about getting the proper chemicals since I live in Yokosuka and while my Japanese is getting better, I don't really know how to ask about developing chemicals.
I also bought a used Canon EOS 55 (a 35mm camera equivelent to the Elan IIe in the US). I always wanted one, but I had settled for a Rebel 2000 unstead. I really like it's aluminium body and it's considerable heft in comparason to the Rebel 2000 or my 400D; it really feels like it's built like a tank in comparison. I plan on getting a few rolls of Kodachrome film to take pictures of certain landmarks around Tokyo before they stop processing the film (sometime in June 2010 I think).

Bad news though, my Macbook's HDD took a shit again and I lost all my pictures, again
So what have you been up to?
I've been drawing, drawing, and drawing. all for school. so busy. but I need to start doing other work and stay ontop of it. I've been going out a bit too much on the weekends. Need to start reeling myself in and get a better hold on school. Time Management. Need more of that. Hahaa! I had it down last year.
Yeah I can imagine how rough it must be to stay in and do class work, especially if all your friends are going out.
So do you know of any recovery programs for the mac that will let me recover deleted files on flash drives? (like SD, Compact Flash, etc)?
